One of the saddest stories in pro football has come around again. The horrible story of Todd Marinovich. Todd was supposed to be the golden boy football player, but it went all wrong.
Todd was almost bred from birth to be the perfect quarterback. His father had played in the NFL as a lineman and was strict about his son’s development.
Todd set many records in high school and went to USC for college. It started to fall apart there with drug charges, etc.
The Oakland Raiders drafted him in 1991 in the first round, but left after his first season due to drug problems.
