Demarcus Ware was the number eleven 11 pick of the 2005 NFL Draft.  Demarcus Ware went to the Dallas Cowboys as a Defensive End. Round one, pick eleven. Eleventh pick.

Demarcus Ware went to Troy State.

2004 Game Notes: Earned Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in the season-opening win over Marshall…Recorded seven tackles against the Herd, including 4.5 for loss. Had three of the Trojans’ eight sacks in the game…Forced two fumbles, had two QB hurries and one PBU…Had six tackles, including two for loss, in the win over Missouri…Recorded one sack against the Tigers…Had two tackles, including a sack, at South Carolina…Made just four tackles against Utah State, but all were for loss, and three were sacks. Added three quarterback hurries against the Aggies as well.

Comments: This is a surprise as I thought he’d fall further in the draft. Demarcus is such a talented player he can play outside line backer of defensive end. If anyone knows about this it’s Bill Parcells. I expect Demarcus will have an impact this year.
