All that was left to do was dot the Is and cross the Ts. Dennis Green, head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, made it official today. Kurt Warner will be the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals.
I’m a huge Kurt Warner fan, so I was happy to see him given the vote of confidence by Denny Green.
Coach Dennis Green said:
“I think the reason to do it now is that I feel he is the right guy for us, the right guy to lead our team. I think across-the-board leadership is going to be crucial for us.”
This is so true with Kurt Warner. Even though physically he’s not the same quarterback thanks to Mike Martz’s quarterback be damned offense, he is an incredible leader. He’s not only a team leader, but a leader in the community.
Josh McCown will be the second quarterback and John Navarre will be the third string quarterback.
