Houston Texans suck – Bob McNair pissed off

You have to admit that there is a new futility in the NFL. They are the Houston Texans and they suck. How bad do they suck? You can’t even begin to describe it, though their owner Bob McNair had some ways.

The Houston Texans lost to the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday 42-10. This was a tough loss as, well, okay, it wasn’t. Everyone knew they were going to be creamed. Yet I have a soft spot in my heart for the Texans. Don’t know why, but I suspect it has something to do with David Carr. Anyway, their owner is Bob McNair and he’s pretty upset about how bad the Houston Texans suck:

I certainly wasn’t proud of that. And the players weren’t proud of it. None us were. That’s not the kind of team — that’s not the kind of effort that we want to have. That’s just totally unacceptable and we’re not going to have that.

Uh, oh.

Mr. McNair paid $700 million dollars for a team that probably won’t win two games this year. Wow. What a pay back, eh?

David Carr is their starting quarterback and has been sacked a NFL leading 5,660,555 times in his NFL career. Ok, that’s an exaggeration, but it’s pretty damn near close to turning his brain into mush one day. David Carr says:

On Sunday when I walk out on the field I believe that we can win wholeheartedly. I think that every guy that I walk out there with as a professional, we believe we can win the football game.

Too late. That day has come.
