- 1 package (10 ozs) frozen cut green beans
- 1 can (1 lb) red kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 7/s ozs) wax beans, drained
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup liquid drained from sweet pickles or relish
- 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
Cook green beans according to directions on package. Drain and chill.
Combine the three kinds of beans in a large bowl. Combine all remaining ingredients and pour over the beans. Mix lightly. Cover and keep in refrigerator at least 6 hours before serving. Serve in a lettuce-lined bowl. Garnish with rings of green pepper or onion, if desired.
