- 6 ounces shell macaroni
- 1 package (8 ozs) cream cheese
- 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion tops
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 can (7.5 ozs) crab meat, flaked
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Cook macaroni according to directions on package.
Mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, onions, and garlic salt.
In a 2-quart casserole, arrange the layers in this order: half the drained macaroni, half the cream cheese mixture, flaked crab meat, remaining macaroni, remaining cream cheese mixture, tomato slices, shredded cheese. Bake in a moderate oven (350F) 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve hot. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
