- 2 quarts torn salad greens (romaine, bibb, or leaf lettuce, raw spinach)
- 1 cup dairy sour cream
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 clove garlic, crushed (or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup mayonnaise
Place the washed, crisp greens in a salad bowl. Combine sour cream, curry powder, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, and mayonnaise; pour over greens and toss gently. Serve at once.
Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
