- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup milk or cream
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 cups shredded crisp cabbage
Combine mayonnaise, milk, mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, celery seed, and lemon juice. Add to cabbage. Stir to combine. Chill in refrigerator. Serve in lettuce-lined bowl, topped with paprika, if desired. Yield: 8 servings.
