New Orleans Style Shrimp Recipe

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) butter or margarine, melted
  • 4 pounds shrimp, cooked and cleaned (fresh or frozen)

Add garlic, parsley, paprika, pepper, and- bread crumbs to butter in saucepan. Stir to blend flavors.

Arrange cooked shrimp in a shallow baking dish. Spoon butter mixture over. Bake in a moderate oven (350F) 30 minutes or until crumbs are brown. Sprinkle with additional parsley, if desired. Serve hot.

Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
