Paper, pencil, and opponent are all you need to play hangman. Draw an upside down “L” to form the gallows, think of a word of five or more letters, and draw a dash for each letter. Write out the alphabet. The victim (your opponent) calls out letters trying to guess the word.
If the victim calls out a letter in your secret word, write it over the appropriate dash and cross it out in the alphabet. If it appears more than once in your word, write it in as many places as it appears. Every time the victim calls out a letter not in your word, draw a section of the anatomy on the gallows-head, neck, torso, each arm and leg. If the victim guesses the word before the last leg is drawn, he or she replaces you as hangman. If not, the victim is hanged and you get another turn.
