Honeyed Carrots Recipe

  • 6 cups sliced carrots (half-inch slices)
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/44 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or mint

Cook carrots in small amount, of salted water. Drain. Place in 1-quart casserole.

Melt butter; add sugar, honey, and parsley. Pour over carrots in casserole. Cover with lid or foil and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) 20 to 30 minutes. Serve hot. Yield: 10 servings.
