- 2 slices white bread, cubed
- 1 pound ground beef (half-inch cubes)
- 1 can (1 lb) cream-style corn
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 medium onion, chopped
Break eggs into a mixing bowl; beat slightly with a fork. Add cubed bread, milk, pepper, salt, beef, corn, mustard, and onion. Mix to blend. Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake in a moderate oven (350F) 45 to 50 minutes. Serve hot. Yield: 6 servings.
