Foil-Baked Barbeque Chicken Recipe

  • 1 3-pound chicken, cut into 8 serving pieces
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sliced onions

Combine all ingredients except onions and chicken and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Line a shallow baking dish with buttered foil and arrange chicken and onions on foil.

Pour sauce over chicken then cover with another large sheet of foil. Bake in preheated 375°F. oven for 40 minutes.

Remove top sheet of foil and bake 10 minutes more.
