- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 12 corn tortillas
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Brown beef and onion with salt, pepper and sugar. Add tomato sauce, chili powder and beans. Add 1/2 can water; cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Dip tortillas into chili mixture until soft. Lay a tortilla in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and fill with meat mixture; roll up tortilla and place at end of pan.
After all have been rolled and arranged, pour remaining chili in dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
