- 3 Ige. onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 lge. pkg. medium noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can milk
- 1 lb. sharp cheese, grated
- 1 can Chinese noodles
- 1/2 lb. cashew nuts
Cook onions in butter; add beef and brown. Combine cooked noodles, soup and milk; mix with meat. Place mixture in casserole; top with grated cheese.
Bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven. Mix fried noodles with cashew nuts; sprinkle on top of casserole. Return to oven; bake for 30 minutes longer.
Yield: 8-10 servings.
