Beef And Noodle Casserole Recipe

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. chopped pepper
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 lb. fine noodles, cooked
  • 1/2 lb. American cheese, grated

Brown beef, onion and pepper in butter. Add soup, water, sugar and salt; simmer. Arrange noodles, meat mixture and cheese in alternate layers; repeat using all ingredients, ending with cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

Yield: 6-8 servings.
