Baked Hawaiian Rice Recipe

  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup wild rice, washed
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 4 cups hot water
  • Chopped parsley

Mix rice, onion, and soy sauce in a 2-quart casserole. Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water; add to rice mixture. Cover tightly with lid or foil and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot.

Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
