We’re continuing to graph the data about bird flu deaths that have occurred and been documented. Remember, some countries may not have documented their bird flu deaths properly.Â
The following is a scatter graph composed of the ages of the people who died due to bird flu. You’re going to notice a few things about the graph. First, if you’re older than 40 you’re pretty much safe. I think this has to do more with your occupation. Older people tend to not work in the capacity of butchers, etc. Second, young people who do work in those occupations look to be the heaviest affected.Â
A couple of notes: 1) The graph is missing eight ages that weren’t available for the Vietnamese victims. 2) There were two victims under one year of age. I moved their age to 1 year old. Click to see a larger image.
